Sandwiches were amazing... for under 5 bucks you can't beat them.... full of flavor... The House special sandwich was good. I didn't get it with the Jalapenos though cause they don't agree with me. This place is legit. Owner is very nice and the people who threw the sandwiches together were professional and kind as well. Thank you! You will have me as a return customer!

We came here on a Friday afternoon when it was 105 F outside and as soon as we walked inside, we noticed the temperature was not much cooler than it was outside. No AC. It had to have been 85-90 degrees inside with just ceiling fans on. I'm not sure if the AC was broken that day but it would've been nice posting that if so.
Anyway, we ordered pho and sandwiches. Everything was tasty but i have to admit i was irritated with the heat while trying to enjoy lunch. I had the sandwich luckily because i can't imagine having to eat pho in that heat.
Please get your AC fixed -

This was my favorite place for Pho until today. I ordered a beef ball and tendon pho with a side of Fresh Spring Rolls and I sat and waited as per usual. The Asian lady who's always at the register delivered my food and disappeared. I began to eat, starting with the spring rolls. I dipped it into the peanut sauce and took a big bite and immediately could taste the sauce was SOUR!! I smelled it to make double sure and it even smelled sour.
I took it to the lady at the register and she told me I was wrong and said to just eat it. I kept telling her it's sour and it doesn't taste right so the Mexican guy from the kitchen came and said it's not sour but he will replace it. He took the sauce and brought a new one which was the same sauce in a different bowl and heated up.
NEVER AGAIN! stay clear of this place, unless you like spoiled sauce. -

I finally walked into Mr. Sandwich for myself today. I've made numerous trip to this place driving UberEats, smells really good in the car. At times even tempted to open a customer's bag to check out the food they ordered, but didn't... I'm not that kind of Uber driver.
A little spot off of Maryland parkway , across the street from the University, next door to Wells Fargo. Big menu, lots of options. They have a menu just for drinks. I ordered a Banh Mi w/ shrimp patty and a watermelon juice.
The Baby Mi was DELICIOUS! Bread crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Fresh crispy veggies, and the kick of jalapeno is the perfect touch to the sandwich. The mayo that's used is homemade (yum). I was full bit did not feel STUFFED. I was going to just eat half and save the other half for after the gym...um yea, that sandwich never made it out of the office, sandwich G-O-N-E!
Watermelon Juice - Yes PLEASE! Made from fresh fruit NOT frozen. No sweetners added, just blended watermelon. Not fully juiced, a little watermelon pulp included. My job is directly across the street from this place and I sucked up half of the juice before I even crossed the street. Very refreshing and light!
The combination of the 2 are perfect! I'll be back to try out some other items on this menu. I tried something different today and I LIKED IT..."I like it a lot"
But this is just my opinion, go check it out for yourself! -

Of the few times that I have been here, they have been in relation to events going on at the university. Concerts, festivals, you name it. Searching for restaurants around here is a bit of a challenge as well. So I decided I wanted to try a place with good food at good price under recommendation by a friend. So I got some pho from this place, tendon, beef ball and brisket. And they did not disappoint. The bowl of soup I received had well cooked tendons, along with beef ball that had good consistency, not chewy as I have ran into on multiple occasions, and the noodles were added into the soup at the right time. Since if added too soon to the soup, they dissolve into the broth and have little to no structure for eating. Will always be go to place when around campus for any reason.
